I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. The Lord is my rock . . . Psalm 18
Yesterday, my dog ran down the street and I had to go after him in the early morning chill, my feet empty of shoes. The ground was very cold, still holding deep to winter’s embrace and on the way back to the warmth of the house, I couldn’t feel my feet. And I thought about how God is with us even when we can’t feel Him there. Dear Lord, thank you for always being there. Thank you for undergirding us even when we can’t feel our bare feet, and thank you for the beginnings of Spring.
