So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Luke 11:9-10
This child passed away this week. It hit me hard, as it did many of us. It struck me how much the battle rages against our children, even our well being, our destinies, our purpose. So many had prayed for this child. What could it possibly feel like for this family; how could I ever know the pain of such an event and yet, maybe there is a blessing now that the wait is over, the child is well and there is a peace incomprehensible in this shadow of pain. It does not take away the potency of the loss, but it offers solace to the heart and a stillness to the mind in trying to dissect the why. Dearest ones, I suppose we will just leave this one to God, for He is the God of all comfort, absolver of all sorrow, and sewer of all peace. Let us rage against the battle and continue to pray for our people and fight for the revolution. Amen.
If it’s in the prayer pipeline, God’s got it.
Love to all – Dianne
