Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand . . . with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith . . . Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.  Ephesians 6:10-17

The battle is around us. Medicare cuts, talks of an extended recession, fears at night, fears when we awake, fears for our children, fears of unknowns. But I say to you, we shall not fear. We will say to the mountain move and it will move. We will not fear for we will bundle our endurance and skills and win a revolution for a broken people, a suffering people, for an elderly nation who needs the compassion of concern, and the glitter of hope in our eyes. We will battle on the side of the angels and with an endless scope of protection and God power. And we will have joy and strength, laughter and kindness. We will know no loss and no boundary, as territories expand and healings unfold. For He is with us. Have a most blessed week.
